Construction Tech 2
- Build on skills from Construction Technology I with advanced instruction in carpentry, electrical wiring, masonry, and plumbing.
- Gain practical experience in various construction trades.
Construction Tech 3
- Apply construction skills by completing hands-on projects and building small structures from start to finish.
- Complete the MC3 pre-apprenticeship curriculum and work on real-world projects.
- Market completed projects for purchase or use around campus and earn MC3 certification.
CPR, MC3
Carpenter
Construct, install, or repair structures made of wood and similar materials, including frameworks, partitions, stairs, and flooring. May also install cabinets, siding, drywall, and insulation. Includes brattice builders who create ventilation walls in underground passageways.
Electricians
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. May install or service street lights, intercom systems, or electrical control systems.
Plumbers, Pipefitters, and Steamfitters
Assemble, install, alter, and repair pipelines or pipe systems that carry water, steam, air, or other liquids or gases. May install heating and cooling equipment and mechanical control systems. Includes sprinkler fitters.

Now focusing on Construction Trades, James prepares students for careers in construction technology with industry certifications like OSHA 10. His commitment to student success drives his passion for hands-on learning and career readiness.
