Farmers, Ranchers & Other Agriculture Managers

Oversee and manage farms, ranches, greenhouses, nurseries, timber tracts, or aquaculture operations. Hire, train, and supervise workers or contract services for daily tasks. Plan and coordinate planting, cultivating, and harvesting while handling financial and marketing activities. Ensure efficient operations and productivity while maintaining compliance with regulations and sustainability practices.

Pest Control Workers

Apply or release chemical solutions or toxic gases and set traps to kill or remove pests and vermin that infest buildings and surrounding areas.

Agricultural Technicians

Assist agricultural scientists with plant, fiber, and animal research, including breeding and nutrition. Maintain lab equipment, collect samples, and prepare specimens. Record data and conduct experiments to enhance crop yield, quality, and disease resistance in plants and animals.

Sustainable Agriculture Biology, Ag & Soil Chemistry

With industry experience in horse training and equine management, she brings hands-on knowledge to her classroom. As the Ag Department Chair, she teaches Ag Bio, Ag Chem, Animal Science, and Vet Science while also serving as an FFA Advisor, Lamb Advisor, and Parli Pro Coach. Passionate about teaching real-life skills, organization, and student success, she is dedicated to providing opportunities for all learners to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Mellisa Jones

AG Core 1

As an FFA Advisor, she coaches various Leadership and Career Development Events and serves as the Goats & Rabbits Advisor. Melissa also oversees the Agriculture Department’s Small Animal and Orchard Enterprises at the school farm, inspiring students through hands-on learning and leadership in agricultural education.

Sarah Richardson

AG Core 1

As a dedicated CTE teacher, she serves as an FFA Advisor and Hog Advisor, guiding students in leadership and hands-on agricultural experiences. She also coaches the Job Interview LDE team and plays a vital role in the Ag Department, helping students develop skills for future careers in agriculture.
